In the period from January to September of this year, a decrease in the production of vehicles of all types was observed in Ukraine, namely by 45.2% compared to the same period last year.
According to Forbes.ua, which in turn refers to the Ukravtoprom association, 30,007 thousand cars were produced in the country in 9 months, which is 45.4% less than last year, as well as 1.3 thousand commercial vehicles (-47.7%, respectively) and 1.5 thousand buses and trolleybuses (less by 38.6%) By September, there was a decrease in the production of vehicles by 34.3% (3,794 thousand units per month) ... At the same time, in August there was a slight increase of 14.1% compared to July, but this growth can be explained by the increased demand for cars due to the imminent introduction of a utilization tax in September. If we compare with last year's September, then in September this year the decline in production reached 38.6%.
Judging by statistics, over the past month, the auto industry produced 3.3 thousand units of passenger cars (which is -35.7% compared to July and -40.8% compared to September 2012), 197 units were produced for commercial vehicles (less than in August by 24.8%, and one more truck compared to September 2012), buses - 211 units (12.4% and 19.2% less, respectively).
In September, the press service of "Ukravtoprom" announced a reduction in the production of cars in Ukraine in the period January-August 2013 by 46% compared to the same period in 2012 - to 29.8 thousand units.
