In 1980, the Japanese auto giant Toyota Motor Corporation decided on a rather risky step, which, as it turned out later, was so successful that to this day it brings the corporation considerable dividends. That year, the management of the auto concern made a decision to develop and launch into the series an interclass car model under the Camry brand. For the first time, a car of this series was presented to the public in 1982 and, which is quite rare in the global automotive industry, continues to be produced 30 years later, having gone through seven generations of modifications and improvements.

The seventh generation Toyota Camry was perhaps the most anticipated model in 2011. The presentation of this car took place in August of the same year in California, Hollywood. The novelty, decorated on the outside with a new, more expressive and solid design, and on the inside with a spacious interior and numerous onboard equipment, did not disappoint the expectations of motorists around the world.

The first is an in-line four-cylinder, and the second is a V-shaped six-cylinder. The car is equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission. In addition, there is a possibility of manual transmission control thanks to the "Multi mode" system. The dimensions of the car have also undergone changes compared to the previous version: the car is now 4.8 meters long, 1.8 meters wide and 1.4 meters high. The wheelbase is 2.7 meters. The changes also affected the basic configuration of the headlights: the car is equipped with front and rear fog lights, and the taillights "acquired" a completely new design and LEDs, which turned out to be quite in the spirit of current trends.

All versions of the seventh generation Toyota Camry are equipped with an air filter with ionizer, multi-zone climate control and rain and light sensors as standard. The new on-board computer is distinguished by its versatility. A rather bold and creative solution can be considered the buttons located on the steering column for controlling the audio system and interior air conditioning.An interesting option is provided for forgetful drivers: the car's electronics are equipped with a signal that reminds the driver of keys forgotten in the ignition lock, of the headlights on when the engine is off, and of an open door.

The developers have not forgotten about the comfort of the passengers sitting in the back: the second row seats are equipped with heating and acoustic system control. The side windows are provided with manual adjustment of the sun blinds, and the rear window is electrically operated.
