The first two generations of Nissan X-Trail had a classic off-road design, thanks to which the crossover was able to collect an impressive number of fans around the world. However, with the release of the third generation of the model, the Japanese decided to radically reshape the appearance, making it more stylish and modern. This led to a large number of discussions, in which the novelty was both praised and scolded.
But it is worth giving the designers their due - the car began to attract much more attention and won success from the younger generation, both male and female. At the same time, we note that men looked more appropriate behind the wheel of the first two generations, which was facilitated by the angularity and chopped design of the crossover.
The debut of the third generation X-Trail took place in 2013 as part of the Frankfurt Auto Show, while sales of the car in Russia started only at the beginning of 2015. In 2016, as part of the Miami Auto Show, Nissan management presented a long-awaited model update, in which the exterior and interior design were corrected, as well as the list of basic and optional equipment was significantly expanded.
